Just listed this Primitive Bird Punch Needle/Cross Stitch set on Ebay for 5 days. The punch needle pillow is a design by Tara Darr. I punched this using 3 strand Valdani thread. It has been lightly walnut ink stained. It measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide. The Cross Stitch Sampler pillow is a design by Jenny Hoffman of Country Rustic Primitives. It was stitched using a variety of hand dyed threads onto stained osnaburg fabric. It measures 5 3/4 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Both are firmly stuffed with clean sawdust and backed with a blue cotton reproduction fabric. I have hand stitched a small wool flower to the back. If anyone is interested, please view my auction using the Ebay button on the left side of this page. I hope everyone is well and enjoying warmer weather! Take care, Jen
I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! Spending my day keeping warm and doing some house work. Staying home with family tonight enjoying heart shaped pizza and chocolate martini's. Unfortunately, I will not have an update tonight for the Early Work Mercantile. I do have a primitive bird set almost ready, but I just couldn't finish it in time. I do apologize. I hope you all stay warm and safe and we all survive this rough winter. I know I am looking forward to some warmer days. Take care, Jen
I have not fallen off the earth! I did manage to finish one Valentine's Day set. I have listed this set on Ebay for a three day auction. If interested, please head on over and check it out! I have been busy working on a HUGE cross stitch project for my Dad! I started it on January 1st and am just finishing it now. I really did want to stitch and punch at least one "Love" set though. I am working on a Primitive Bird Punch Needle pillow and Cross Stitch Sampler set now. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Stay warm and take care, Jen
I just updated my Early Work Mercantile page, but my set sold immediately! What great customers I have! I just wanted to thank everyone for all their purchases and sweet comments on this blog. I appreciate it so much. I enjoy the feedback and love hearing from everyone! You all encourage me so much to work harder at completing more projects. This is the last set of the year for me. I am now working on family gifts and shopping for my three kids. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
