Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is having a great Monday!  Ours started out dreary but it is very sunny out now.  Lovely Fall day.  I am finishing up the "Turkey and Tallowberries" punch needle mat today.  Design by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm.  I will have it listed for sale in my Etsy shop Tuesday 10/25/16 at 7 pm Eastern time if you are interested.  I hope this is plenty of notice.

Next on my list of projects is this beautiful design by Doreen Frost of Vermont Harvest Folk Art.  She has a wonderful Etsy shop with lots of patterns and other wonderful things for sale.  I love to be able to just download my patterns.  So easy and I get to start right away.  This is a nice big pattern.  Had to whip out my big hoop for this one!   Can't wait to get started.  I will post progress pictures soon.  Take care everyone and have a wonderful week,  Jen

Turkey and Tallowberries

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday.  It is chilly and rainy still today.  We do get a peek of the sun every now and again.  I have been spending the cleaning, doing laundry and punching "Turkey and Tallowberries".  Another awesome pattern from Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm.  I am making this one with 6 strand DMC and I will be adding some Valdani pearl cotton as well.  This piece will be available for sale in a few days.  I will give a heads up here on my blog.

This is just a picture of my little kitty "helping".  They do love mommy's thread.

The two pictures above show how I package up my creations.  I love wool applique.  I make a coordinating wool penny to go with every package I send out.  Just a little something.  I know we all love getting "happy mail"!

I hope you all have a great Fall weekend!

Fall Finishes

I am not updating this blog as much as I would like too!  So sorry about that!  I will try to do better.  This little punch needle above has already been spoken for, just wanted to share.  This is a Country Stitches pattern.

This punch needle mat which is also already spoken for was made from a freebie pattern by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm.  I played around a bit with different threads and had lots of fun making this one.  Just had to add in a blue pumpkin for some reason!

Also, spoken for is this Harvest Squirrel punch needle mat that is designed by Country Stitches.  I really loved how this one turned out.  I am using 2 strands of Valdani pearl cotton size 8 and 6 strand DMC in this one.  I just had to use a medium Cameo needle.  I really like the look of the thicker thread.

I will be packing and shipping today and then cyber school with my daughter.  Later in the day I plan to start a Turkey mat.  I have the colors all picked out and ready.  I will share my progress soon!  It is very rainy and much cooler here today in western Pennsylvania, so I plan on staying indoors punching away!!!

Enjoy your weekend!    Jen
